Fundamental Doctrine Course

You will work systematically through: 1. The Scriptures Inspired — Why the Bible is God-breathed, authoritative, and worth staking your life on. 2. The One True God — The character of God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 3. The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ — The virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atonement, resurrection, and exaltation of Christ. 4. The Fall of Man — How sin entered the world and why every human being needs a Savior. 5. The Salvation of Man — Repentance, faith, regeneration, and the inward and outward evidences of salvation. 6. The Ordinances of the Church — Water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper. 7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit — The promise of the Father and empowerment for ministry. 8. The Initial Physical Evidence — Speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. 9. Sanctification — Being set apart for God and growing in practical holiness. 10. The Church and Its Mission — Evangelism, worship, and building up the body of Christ. 11. The Ministry — The Ephesians 4 five-fold ministry gifts given by Christ to the Church. 12. Divine Healing — Healing as an integral part of the gospel and the privilege of every believer. 13. The Blessed Hope — The imminent return of Christ for His Church. 14. The Millennial Reign of Christ — Christ’s thousand-year reign and the establishment of universal peace. 15. The Final Judgment — The Great White Throne and the eternal destiny of the wicked. 16. The New Heavens and the New Earth — God’s eternal dwelling place with His redeemed people. By the end of this class you will be able to explain the core doctrines of the Christian faith clearly and biblically, defend them under pressure, and use them to lead others to a real, life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
